An eco friendly hairdryer that is great value, will save you money on electricity, dry your hair fast and give you a smoother than normal finish - unbelieveable but true!

The Babyliss Eco Dry is a lightweight hair dryer that saves you half the energy of a normal 2000W hair dryer.

I love being impressed by the products I review - and much to my surprise this one did. Whilst you might normally associate a powerful hair dryer with weight, this one is incredibly light. I was equally surprised by just how much power comes out of this neat hair dryer with quite a blast. Indeed it did dry my hair fast and what's more my hair was smoother than usual - and whereas I can't normally control the kink - for a change the result was incredibly straight.

BaByliss makes it's confident claim on energy saving having tested in laboratory conditions to test guidelines to produce a drying rate equal to or better than well know 2000W dryers. The BaByliss Eco Dryer is uses just 1000 watts. The energy saving, they say, is equivalent to making 7 cups of tea or 11 slices of toast (I guess this depends on the length of your hair!!)

The smooth hair results from the use of ionic technology. The Eco Dryer produces a stream of negative ions which act to neutralise static charge. This smooths the scales on the cuticles with a shiny result. I do confess I noticed just how remarkably smooth my hair was before I read this up in the product blurb!

The dryer has a nozzle attachment for straight effects. This can be removed if you are going for the tozzled look. There are two speeds and a 'cool shot' button to cool the hair and set the button.
